Gallatin Corridor
Gallatin Corridor

The Gallatin River Canyon from Bozeman to Big Sky and onto West Yellowstone is fun mountain road with gorgeous views, and a great route to Yellowstone National Park. Don't miss an opportunity to view Hebgen and Quake Lakes and learn about power and devastation of the 1959 quake. There are plenty of side roads and trail to explore. So as always, leave yourself enough time to enjoy the trip.

Paradise Valley
Paradise Valley

Flanked by the Absaroka Range to the east and the Gallatin Range to the west and with the Yellowstone River running through it, Paradise Valley is one of the most beautiful and serene drives the state. Take the East River Road, for access to campgrounds and hiking trails in the Absaroka Range. The drive through, from Livingston to Gardiner is well worth the time, and is a good route to Yellowstone National Park and Mammoth Hot Springs.

Beartooth Highway
Beartooth Highway

The Beartooth Highway, designated a National Scenic Byway All-American Road in 2002, runs from Red Lodge to Cooke City, Silver Gate and the Northeast entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Surrounded by the Custer, Gallatin, and Shoshone National Forests, the highway passes through one of the most spectacular areas in the lower 48 states, with 20 mountain peaks reaching over 12,000 feet. The highway will take you to the Top of the World past alpine meadows and pristine mountain lakes, with lots of campgrounds and trails to explore along the way.

Yellowstone National Park
Yellowstone National Park

While Yellowstone National Park is world renown for Old Faithful and its thermal features, it is also one of the most amazing wildlife preserves in the world! From the agile mountain goat to the lumbering bison, from the large moose to the small chipmunk, from the fierce grizzly to the gentle swan there is wildlife viewing at every turn. Every season is wildlife season. Come in the spring and see the wildlife and it new offspring. The long, warm days of summer are perfect for wildlife viewing. The bugling of the elk in the fall is haunting. In winter the animals move to their winter feeding grounds near the roads, making it the perfect time to view animals. Watch from the comfort of a snow coach or strap on snow shoes and hit the trails. Remember you are a guest in their home, so give them the distance they deserve.
